Straight answers.

The questions people ask before they ask for a seat.

How does DealerCockpit make a dealership more operationally efficient?

It removes the retyping and the chasing. A deal is entered once, and every department works from it on its own screen, so a change made in one place shows everywhere. Alerts go to the people on the deal, and a salesperson sees what paperwork is missing and who to ask, without walking upstairs.

What is dealership operations software?

It is the software that runs the daily work around a deal: funding, recon, titles, delivery, follow-up and reporting. It sits beside your DMS and takes over the spreadsheets and group chats that fill the gaps.

What does it replace?

The side spreadsheets, whiteboards and group chats. That includes the deal log, the finance order sheet, the funding schedule, the recon board, the trade and wholesale logs, the we-owe list and the month-end recap.

How does it stop the same deal being typed into three places?

The deal is the single record. The finance order, the funding schedule, the recon board, the delivery calendar and the recap are all views of it, so nobody copies a stock number or a customer name from one sheet to the next.

How do people know what paperwork is missing?

Accounting marks what is missing on a deal, item by item, with a note on each. The deal team is told, and the salesperson sees it on their own screen with the name of the person to bring it to.

How does it help get a car delivered on time?

The delivery board shows each scheduled car with its readiness in one row: finance, insurance, OnStar and whether the car is ready. Recon and detail hand off inside the same deal, so the delivery team can see where a car stands without a group chat.

Does everyone see the same screen?

No. Each person lands on their own department's screen, and what they can see and change is set by their department and level. Money columns such as gross are hidden from people who are not permitted to see them.

Do we have to connect our DMS to start?

No. Everything above works on its own, and your team is working in it the first week. A DMS connection is an add-on that saves extra typing, and the integrations page shows where each one stands.

Does it replace our DMS?

No. Your DMS stays your accounting record, and DealerCockpit never writes to it. It handles the daily work around each deal.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It works in a phone browser and can be added to the home screen, and it can send alerts to a locked phone.

Is DealerCockpit in beta?

Yes. It runs every day at Mohawk Chevrolet and is growing quickly. We are looking for dealerships to try it as new features arrive, and their feedback shapes what we build next.

Something not here? Ask us, or see what connects to your DMS.

Try it in the beta.

DealerCockpit is in beta and we are looking for dealerships to try it as new features arrive. Not everything works as well as we plan yet.
